Hun Many: The Decision of the CPP Today Shows the Confidence of Party Members

PHNOM PENH: Member of Parliament and Member of the Central Committee of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP), Hun Many, congratulated the Minister of Defense, Tea Banh and the Minister of National Assembly-Senate Relations and Inspection, Men Sam An, for their election as Vice Presidents of the CPP, as well as the unanimous decision to elect his elder brother, Hun Manet, as the future Prime Ministerial candidate.

Hun Many wrote on his official Facebook page today: "The result of the decision of the Central Committee of the Cambodian People's Party is a wise decision and also a decision that continues to ensure trust from the members of the party, and also continues to maintain national sustainability and social peace in Cambodia for the future."

CPP Spokesman, Sous Yara, said at a press conference after the Committee Meeting that the CPP has made people's security and national security a top priority over the focus on the person who will be the next prime ministerial candidate. He added that the election of two more party Vice Presidents and the unanimous trust in Hun Manet as the best future candidate for Prime Minister, shows the world the unity and solidarity of the CPP.
